Well, simply because everyone has a different idea of their dream bike. Hit the components and cover all imagination is not possible. And of course, the current situation with a lack of components also plays a big role. And with our frameset, you have the opportunity to build your dream bike on our high-quality and lightweight frame exactly according to your preferences. TORP Bite frame was designed to always be fun to ride, whether you're going up the hill or down the hill.

Lightweight aluminium frame with unique design

We designed a unique frame using AL6061 aluminum tubes that are specially curved. The frame has a low weight of only 1500 g and is available in two sizes S/M and M/L (for biker's height from 145 cm to 175 cm).

Progressive trail geometry

We lengthened the front frame triangle, lowered the top tube, lowered the head angle, shortened the rear chainstay and gave the seatpost a larger angle for more efficient pedalling. We have achieved that the TORP Bite is stable on the trails, has a quick response, gets in the air more easily and is unbelievably fun. Children just love it!

Designed for 26" and 27.5" wheels

There are two sizes available where you can start with smaller 26" wheels and get the basic technique. Then switch to 27.5" and improve. And all this with a maximum tire width of up to 2.4".

Elegant frame in LIME green color

The frame received a beautiful bright LIME colour that you will love. For a smoother and more beautiful look, the bowdens and cables are guided through the inside of the frame, this also applies to the cable for the dropper (telescopic) seatpost. The rear brake caliper mount is designed for FLAT mount (so-called FM mount).

We have tested the frames for a long time on trails and we are convinced that bike build on this frame will be your dream bike.

Internal routing of bowdens and cables

The internal routing of bowdens and cables is elegant and at the same time it protects against damage or wear. When guiding the cables, we also thought of a telescopic seatpost.

BSA 73 mm bottom bracket shell

The bottom bracket shell has a threaded type BSA 73 mm. We are convinced that with this type, the replacement as well as the service of the bottom bracket will be easier. For our frame, we recommend using a Sram DUB bottom bracket in combination with Torp Tornado DUB crankset.

148x12 mm rear spacing (Boost) and Taper head tube

148x12 or so-called Boost is currently the MTB standard. That's why it's in the finals on our frame as well (we also tested 142x12 mm). The Boost version offers a significant improvement in stiffness and strength compared to 142 mm. Likewise, to increase overall stiffness, we also chose a taper (conical) head tube (1-1/8" top, 1.5" bottom).

FM (Flat mount)

We choose the more elegant FM (Flat Mount) mount, which is more often found also on mountain bikes. You also get an adapter for the PM (Post Mount) mount with the frame. So it's up to you what type of brake caliper you choose when building your dream bike.

Supplied with frame

As standard with the frame, you get the headset, rear thru-axle, chain guard protector, plastic covers to the holes in the frame for the bowden cables and FM/PM adapter for the rear brake caliper. It is possible to order TORP Tornado DUB crankset and RemerX RX 2027 27.5" trail wheels.
